Eternal vigilance is the price of a safe city neighborhood

Robbery and Carjacking Incidents

City Detectives need help to ID Robbery-Kidnapping Suspect

Detectives need assistance in identifying this suspect relative to a Robbery 1st/ Abduction that occurred on June 17,2018 at approximately 4:40 p.m. in the 4400 block of Maryland. The victim, a 25-year old white female, was walking to her vehicle, and when she opened the vehicle door the suspect, described as a black male in his mid-thirties, 5’9” to 6’0” tall, wearing a white t-shirt with Looney Tunes characters, and a blue baseball cap, approached her. Crime updates

Three major violent crimes have occurred in the last month in the CWE and arrests have been made in all three. A rape that occurred on Boyle in the Central West End. Police say a 26-year-old woman was sleeping in her second story bedroom when a man climbed in through a first floor window and assaulted her. Bicycle thief arrested

KMOV reports this morning that, over the weekend, the police apprehended the bicycle thief that had been responsible for a large number of thefts in the CWE in the past few months. Many thanks to Jim Whyte and the NSI for publicizing the videos and images of the man’s previous burglaries, which ultimately led to the man’s identification and arrest.
