Dave Blum, long-time member and former officer of the WPLNA and a great early promoter of the virtues of living in our small corner of the CWE, passed away on June 7. There is a memorial on Sunday, June 14. Info below:

David Blum died peacefully at home on June 7, 2015 after a short illness. He was born April 21, 1943 in Parsons, KS to Harry J. and Lelia Waits Blum. He was younger brother to Harriet (Jackie) Johnston. He had two nephews, Tony and Jay Johnston, and a great-nephew Tark Johnston and a great-niece Marci Choate. He is survived by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his partner of many years, Harvey Cotner. Dave was a well-known real estate agent in the community. Services: A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 14th at 4 pm at Second Presbyterian Church in the Central West End, 4501 Westminster Place, Saint Louis, MO 63108. Dave was a member and a Ruling Elder at Second Presbyterian Church.
