Please be aware that a resident of the Central West End posted a notice on NextdoorSTL on or about January 6th concerning two car break-ins in the alley between Laclede & Forest Park. We do not know the actual block in which the reported break-ins occurred, but we “assume” that the alley in question is between Sarah on the East and Kingshighway on the west. Package thief –

Thefts from Blue postal mailboxes

From Jim Whyte of the CWE Neighborhood Security Initiative: The blue postal mailbox on the corner of Laclede and Euclid was opened and the contents taken by thieves on Monday morning, Dec. 18, just after 1 am.  There was a similar incident at Wilson and Sublette in south city. I strongly suggest not using any blue mailboxes.
