Good afternoon, neighbors! This is just a friendly reminder that we will hold our regularly scheduled monthly neighborhood association meeting this coming Tuesday, March 10th @7:00 at Northwest Coffee on Laclede Ave.
We are especially pleased to announce that our special guest speaker will be her honor, Mayor Cara Spencer. Mayor Spencer plans to talk briefly about critical issues facing city voters, especially the 1% Earnings Tax (which accounts for over one-third of our City’s total annual revenue) and matters related to the state control of the municipal police department.
In addition, we also will hear from Marc Dangerfield. Many of us know Marc quite well from his years in the neighborhood. Marc’s business nickname is “The Awesomizer,” for the “awesomeness” of his event- and party-planning. Marc will discuss his plans for an “awesome” street festival on Laclede & Sarah involving both local businesses & residents.
