St. Louis Neighborhood Organization
Dear Friends,
As a city of St. Louis resident, you may be used to receiving your tax bills after Veterans Day. However, to give our taxpayers more time to pay, all personal property and real estate tax bills are currently available through PayITSt. Louis at payitstlouis.com or by calling 314–408–6887. Additionally, we began mailing bills last week. We hope this additional time will allow residents the convenience to pay in a way that works best for them. Anyone who has not received a bill by November 12th should contact us at (314) 622–4105; we will gladly send a duplicate bill.
I understand that these end-of-the-year tax bills can put financial strain on many. While taxes are due December 31st, it is not required to pay them all at once. To help relieve some of the pressure, taxpayers can make smaller more manageable payments as long as their account is paid in full on or by December 31st. Any balance not paid in full will be subject to interest in penalty getting January 1, 2025.
Residents looking for a way to budget for annual taxes may be interested in our “Pre-Pay“ program. Once enrolled, and individuals may make deposits towards future tax liabilities throughout the year. More information can be found via www.stlouiscollector.com or by calling (314) 622–4783.
Please pass this information along to your neighbors so they can best prepare for these end-of-year tax payments. If anyone has any questions regarding property assessment or the Senior Citizen Property Tax Freeze Credit, please contact the Assessor’s office at (314) 622–4185. For payment questions please contact our office at [email protected] or (314) 622–4105.
Sincerely,
Gregory F. X.Daly
