Our featured speakers this month will be from Places For People. Tony,  Place’s CEO, and Andre, the organization’s facilities manager, will discuss Places For People’s return to the old neighborhood. For decades, Places was a prominent presence at 4120-4130 Lindell. While 4130 Lindell has been sold to ABNA Engineering, Places currently is extensively rehabbing 4120 Lindell for its own use in the near-future.

Katie, the new chairwoman of our Beautification Committee, is organizing a Spring Alley Blitz on Saturday, May 30th, beginning at 9 a.m. Katie needs 8 to 10 volunteers (2 full teams) to tackle

cleaning; weeding; & pruning of shrubbery in the West Pine & Laclede alleys. Tools and other implements will be provided for all volunteers by Operation Brightside.

Anyone who cares about the appearance; condition; and tidiness of our alleys is greatly encouraged to volunteer for this one-time neighborhood clean-up effort.
