Friendly neighborhood reminders

Good afternoon, neighbors of West Pine and Laclede! We have a quick reminder to announce, and a request for help with National Night Out on Oct 6th.

Just a quick reminder to please keep your dogs on a leash when out for walks in the neighborhood.

We know our neighborhood is full of friendly dogs and dog lovers, but keeping dogs leashed helps keep everyone safe—including our pets, children, walkers, cyclists, and neighbors who may be uncomfortable around dogs.

Thank you for helping us keep our neighborhood safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone! 💕🐶

Additionally,

Tuesday, October 6th, is the City-wide celebration of Neighborhood Night Out (NNO) .
As many members of the WPLNA are aware, we’ve had NNO celebrations for the entire neighborhood in the 4100/4200 block of West Pine for the past few years.
Unless someone is willing to volunteer to plan & coordinate a NNO for the first Tuesday of next month, however, we won’t be having a NNO block party this year anywhere in our neighborhood.
Once again, there are funds available from our Special Taxing District to defray the costs of food & snacks (typically neighbors have brought a dish to share as well).
If anyone were interested in taking responsibility for this year’s NNO in either its “time-honored” location in the 4100/4200 block lot West Pine or anywhere else in the neighborhood, you should contact Harold at 314-574-1231 ASAP.
He then will put you in touch with both NIS Ron Coleman & the Special Taxing District.
Thank you, everyone!!
