From Jim Whyte of the CWE Neighborhood Security Initiative: The blue postal mailbox on the corner of Laclede and Euclid was opened and the contents taken by thieves on Monday morning, Dec. 18, just after 1 am. There was a similar incident at Wilson and Sublette in south city. I strongly suggest not using any blue mailboxes.
