On Thursday, 02/18/16, at approximately 9:10pm, A young woman was the victim of a street robbery. As she was getting out of her car at 4550 Forest Park (near Euclid) she was approached by 4 suspects. One indicated he had a gun and punched her in the face knocking her to the ground. The suspects took her purse, car keys and phone and ran south toward the Metro stop. NSI conducted a review of our video cameras and captured the suspects walking at the intersection of Euclid and Laclede prior to the robbery. They forwarded images of the suspects to the 5th district detective bureau. On Saturday evening while handling a large crowd and disturbance near the Metro stop at Delmar and Skinker officers recognized a subject matching the image of one of the robbery suspects. He was arrested and later picked out of a line-up. Charges for robbery 1st were issued and he is on a $100,000 cash only bond.
Early this morning, 5am, a woman was robbed and her car taken from 4367 Duncan. A car pulled up in front of the victim while sitting in her car and she was approached by an armed suspect. The suspect took the victim’s car and drove off.
